As we look forward to the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, the Galena Park Independent School District (GPISD) Human Resource Services (HRS) Department stands ready to serve and assist the GPISD community.  HRS understands that in these unprecedented, uncertain, and ever-evolving times,  there will be multiple questions and concerns as we plan for the upcoming school year. HRS is here to answer any questions employees and/or parents may have, as well as to provide current information regarding COVID-19 and employment.  

Our mission is to ensure and enforce all  GPISD employees abide by the most current guidelines and standards provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Harris County Health Department, and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) upon returning to work in order to slow and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
