  • Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) Information

    Did your child receive free or reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program during the 2020–21 school year? If so, your family may be eligible for P-EBT benefits to purchase food. The P-EBT application opens June 2, 2021 and will close on August 13, 2021.   • Free Summer Meals for Children Schedule

    This summer, Galena Park Independent School District will be sponsoring the TDA Seamless Summer Option which provides free breakfast and lunch to all children 18 years of age and younger. Program dates and serving times for each site will vary. Children do not have to sign up for meals; they simply need to come to the school site during serving hours. Regulations require that meals must be eaten at the school site. For more information about the program contact the GPISD Student Nutrition Department at (832) 386-1211.

  • COVID-19 Vaccination Sign Up

    Legacy Community Health is providing Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations to any community member 12 years of age and older! Appointments will be available every Saturday, beginning April 17th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Legacy Clinic located at North Shore Senior High School (Clinic Entrance on Mustang Drive). Vaccines are being provided at no direct cost to the individual.

  • After-Hours Technical Support for Students/Parents

    Galena Park I.S.D., working with Precinct 2 Commissioner Adrian Garcia, has partnered with Harris County to provide additional after-hours technical support for students and parents. The Harris County Schools Digital Access Call Center will provide help Monday-Friday from 5pm-9pm and Saturday –Sunday 10am-2pm.

  • Removal of Unauthorized/Disruptive Persons

    As of August 26, 2018 all school districts are subject to the Commissioner’s new rules regarding the removal of a disruptive person from a campus. More information regarding this new rule can be found in Chapter 37, section 37.105 of the Texas Education Code, which addresses: Unauthorized Persons, Refusal of Entry, Ejection, and Identification.
