    • 9 AM to 6 PM (gates open @ 8:15 AM)
    • $5 spectator admission fee (children 6 and under admitted at no charge)
    • The online entry form will be available beginning Monday, April 15, 2024, at 8:00 AM

Contest Information

  • The 2024 Galena Park I.S.D. Marching Band Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 5.

    The adjudication format is similar to the UIL Area Marching Contest with 3 music and 2 marching judges. The GPISDMBF is a prelims only contest with awards presented for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in each classification.

    As in the past, our event is broken into three performance blocks. Please submit your 1st and 2nd preferences when submitting your entry form. Be aware that afternoon times will fill quickly.

    • morning (9:15-11:15 AM), 9 performance spots available + North Shore
    • early afternoon (12:30-2:45 PM), 10 performance spots available
    • late afternoon (3:15-5:15 PM), 9 performance spots available + Galena Park
